Feuerland ist eine Inselgruppe an der südlichsten Spitze Südamerikas, die von Chile und Argentinien geteilt wird. Sie ist bekannt für ihre dramatische Landschaft mit schneebedeckten Bergen, Gletschern, Tundra und windgeformten Bäumen. Auf der Hauptinsel Isla Grande befindet sich Ushuaia, die südlichste Stadt der Welt. Ushuaia wird manchmal auch als “das Ende der Welt” bezeichnet und ist das Tor zu Feuerland und zur Antarktis im Süden.
On a sailing trip from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas, I had the opportunity to explore and photograph the stunning fjord landscape of Tierra del Fuego. I have rarely been to such remote places before. Thanks to Paganel for allowing me to be part of this adventure. I will always remember "Tierra del Fuego" :-).
